  • Account credentials (your password is securely hashed and never stored in plain text)
  • Business name and business type, if provided during sign-up

Usage and Campaign Data

  • QR code scan events, including timestamps, device identifiers, and approximate location data
  • Campaign details such as campaign names, budgets, notes, and associated QR codes
  • Lead information captured through your QR code landing pages
  • Analytics and funnel conversion data generated from your campaigns

Payment Data

  • Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc., a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1 payment processor — the most stringent level of certification in the payments industry
  • When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment card details (card number, expiration date, CVV) are transmitted directly to Stripe via their secure, encrypted checkout form. These sensitive details never touch or pass through QR Funnel's servers
  • We do not store, log, or have access to your full credit card number or CVV at any time
  • Stripe may collect additional information as described in their Privacy Policy and Consumer Terms
  • We receive limited billing information from Stripe for account management, including: your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, the last four digits of your card, card brand (e.g., Visa, Mastercard), expiration date, billing address, and transaction history (amounts and dates)
  • Your payment data is subject to Stripe's own data retention and security policies. You may review and manage your payment methods directly through Stripe's customer portal, accessible from your QR Funnel account settings

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the QR Funnel platform and its features
  • To process your account registration and manage your subscription
  • To track QR code scans and generate campaign analytics and ROI reports
  • To capture and store leads from your QR code landing pages
  • To communicate with you about your account, including service updates, billing notifications, and support responses
  • To improve and personalize your experience with the platform
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your data in the following limited circumstances:

  • Stripe, Inc. (Payment Processor): We share your email address and necessary billing information with Stripe to process subscription payments, manage your customer account, and handle refunds or disputes. Stripe acts as an independent data controller for payment data it collects. Stripe's use of your data is governed by their Privacy Policy. Stripe is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level of certification available in the payments industry.
  • Service Providers: We may use third-party services for hosting, analytics, and email delivery that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect it:

  • All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL
  • User passwords are hashed using secure, one-way hashing algorithms and are never stored in plain text
